About TIM

Brought to life by artist Tim Verherstraeten, graphic designer Elena Op ‘t Eynde and researcher Cleo Foole, TIM magazine is a new Antwerp based biannual artist’s magazine that creates a platform where artists can meet, openly talk about their practice and showcase their work. We focus on the work and practice of an emerging generation of artists, especially those working in the Benelux. Each issue a handfull of artists are invited to interview an artist of their choice or show their work in a feature related to the theme of the magazine.   

The main language of the magazine is English, except for interviews originally conducted in another language; in that case, we print the interview bilingually. Each issue is designed by another graphic designer and comes with a folded poster as cover.

To ensure that we can continue our platform with integrity and generosity towards our participating artists, we are looking for third parties that wish to contribute financially by taking out advertising space. When you take out an advertisement page, you not only help us to produce future issues of TIM magazine, you directly contribute to the fee we pay our invited feature artists! With the funds raised from our advertisers, we can continue to offer them a platform and financially compensate them for their work, which is ever so important in times when government funding becomes scarcer.
